Midlands Education Group Meetings

About the Midlands group

The Midlands Education Group meets every third Wednesday at Walsall College, Littleton Street West, Walsall, WS2 8ES. This group facilitates networking for the education sector and businesses that supply them with services, goods, and resources.
It is also an ideal opportunity to learn how they can work together and support each other with knowledge, information, and referrals.

Andrew has worked in the education sector for 30 years – as an EdTech innovator and thought leader, senior company executive, school leader and teacher.

He has successfully researched and launched new products and services across Europe for Sony and in partnership with Oxford University Press, Microsoft, Toshiba, Apple and many more. Most recently Andrew has led the revolution in school-based video coaching and mentoring in the UK and India..

Andrew is extremely well networked within the UK education and EdTech communities – he has spoken at events organised by BESA in the UK and India, contributed to Government and industry working groups and written for many leading education publications.

Andrew is able to draw on his deep understanding of education from his experience as a Design and Technology Teacher, IT Development Director, Senior Leadership Team member and Governor in schools including Merchant Taylors School and Mount Kelly.
