Worcester Business School is an approved Chartered Management Institute Centre and a member of the Chartered Association of Business Schools, the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) and the Network of International Business Schools (NIBS). Rooted in the region, supporting business growth and leading the employability agenda, Worcester Business School (incorporating the Department of Computing) is interdisciplinary and outward-looking. Our strong emphasis on business enterprise and work-related learning delivers immediate benefit for our graduates, their organisations and the regional economy. We work closely with organisations and businesses across the region including our partners in regional development at Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership and Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Small Businesses.
Aston Centre for Growth, at Aston Business School, designs and delivers business support
programmes for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) (face to face and online) and provides
other help for entrepreneurs. The fast-paced and productive Centre was established in 2014 and has a small team of around 15 people.
The programmes currently delivered by the Centre for Growth team include: Shropshire Leadership Programme, Social Economy Growth Programme, Help to Grow: Management Course, Minerva Birmingham Pitch Up, Green Advantage Skills Bootcamp and BSEEN (Birmingham Skills for Enterprise and Employability Network) along with some shorter courses such as Doing Business in the UK (Migrant programme), Practical Insights Masterclasses and Aston Centre for Growth Networking Groups. The Centre also delivers shorter bespoke programmes in collaboration with external partners. Programmes are delivered by leading Aston Business School academics with hands-on industry experience and include 1-to-1 coaching and peer learning. The team prides itself on getting to know you and your business so they can provide the right support.
The Centre works alongside leading research centres ERC (the national Enterprise Research
Centre) and CREME (Centre for Research into Ethnic Minority Entrepreneurship). Through
these centres of excellence Aston has built a significant role in the West Midlands region and
nationally in promoting inclusive growth through impactful research and business
engagement.
Walsall Academy, situated in Walsall, England, is a forward-thinking educational institution known for its commitment to academic excellence and holistic development.
